Septimanae Latinae Europaeae 2015 (Allemagne)

Mechtildis, Thomas, Petrus, Robertus, Uvius Amicis Latinitatis Vivae Plurimam Dicunt Salutem
Septimana Latina XXXI a die Saturni I ad diem Saturni VIII mensis Augusti Amoeneburgi (prope Marburgum) fiet.
Septimana Latina XXXII a die Solis XXIII ad diem Saturni XXIX mensis Augusti Frisingae (in Bavaria Superiore) instituetur.
Optime valete!

Dear friends of spoken Latin,
we already sent you information on the next European Latin Weeks.
Some of you already enrolled. Today we would like to renew our invitation to both Latin Weeks and we hope that as many of you as possible will participate. Due to your presence the Latin Weeks will flourish.
In both Latin Weeks we will have Latin conversation, discuss various things, read, play, make music and perform.
If you want to participate in the European Latin Week you don’t have to be a professional Latinist. Two or three years of instruction in Latin are sufficient. Our Latin Weeks are suitable for pupils and students who want to experience Latin under a new perspective.
This year prof. Wilfried Stroh who is one of the most brillant Latinists will visit us in Freising. At this occasion he will give a lecture “De fabulis Latinis in usum puerorum puellarumque scriptis (ab Aesopo ad Asterigem)”.
Days and locations of the European Latin Weeks 2015:
The 31st Latin Week will start on Saturday, August 01, and end on Saturday, August 08, in Amöneburg near Marburg (Germany).
The 32nd Latin Week will take place from Sunday, August 23, to Saturday, August 29, in Freising / Oberbayern (Germany).
All you need to know about the European Latin Weeks you will find on our homepage at: http://www.septimanalatina.org. You will find there also the registration forms.
The new poster is now available! If you want to get one to hang it in your school or institution please let us know, so we can send you one.
We hope to welcome you this year in Freising or Amöneburg.
Best regards
Thomas Gölzhäuser, Mechtild Hofmann, Peter Trunk, Robert Maier, Uvius Fonticola
